Supply Chain ESCP-EAP 08

One of the major things that stood out to the ESCP-EAP group of volunteers was discovering the barriers to education faced by children impacted by HIV/AIDS.

For this reason this group of volunteers decided to focus the Supply Chain items around getting more kids into school. When you donate, please put the Supply Chain item in the comment box so we can make sure it gets to the right place.

£100.00 will pay for a computer for a child to learn invaluable computer skills

£33.00 will pay for a child's primary school fees for one term

£13.00 will pay for a child’s uniform so that they can attend school

£5.00 will pay for a child's school stationary needs

About the ESCP-EAP Capacity Building Project

The ESCP-EAP Tailored project saw 6 students who had just come to the end of their studies at ESCP-EAP (European School of Management) spend 2 weeks in the capital of , Kampala. Volunteers worked closely with The Great Generation's expert partner - an organisation set up to improve the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS in impoverished areas of Kampala.

Whilst out on the project volunteers created a marketing and communication plan for the organisation. They also developed teaching modules and a manual to help the trainers of the organisation's vocational training centre, teach business skills to all new students.

What is the Supply Chain?

For those of you who do not know, The Great Generation Supply Chain is a unique way for our volunteers to become ambassadors for the local communities whom they have lived and worked with during their project.

Our volunteers work together with our Expert Partners and local communities to identify small items which can make a big difference. We advertise these items here and volunteers promote these Supply Chain items to YOU, their friends and family and when you donate money towards a particular Supply Chain item you know that the money is going to where it is needed most.

The Great Generation and its volunteers, partners and local communities thank you for your contribution towards a world free of poverty.
