Supply Chain

The Supply Chain helps us to provide much needed items for our expert partners and the communities they work in.

What is The Supply Chain?

The Supply Chain is a way for you to donate to communities that The Great Generation supports directly.

While our volunteers are working on projects, they identify items that are desperately needed by the communities they are supporting. For example, a supply of soap for a family for a year, fruit for a class full of children or books for an under resourced school.

Before finishing their project our volunteers agree what is needed with the NGO’s and Charities they are working with, so you are safe in the knowledge that your donations are making a real difference to everyday lives.

We call this a supply chain.

Each group of volunteers that go out to a community has the opportunity to set up a Supply Chain whilst they are there. On the left hand side you will see the links to Supply Chains that are up and running. It’s simple:

1. Pick the community that you would like to help.
2. Choose the item you would like to buy for the community and follow the link.
3. Enter your details into the JustGiving page.

“we witnessed a real success story for microfinance – a lady with HIV who had set up her own fruit and vegetable stall at a market. It brought to life the impact that well managed microfinance investments really can have”
