About the Barclays Capacity Building Project
The Great Generation has partnered with Barclays Bank UK. In March 2009 a group of their top graduates delivered a capacity building project with one of our Expert Partners in Uganda. Our Expert Partner is a young organisation that has made a huge impact on the community in which it works. If you would like to find out more about it please click here.
“we witnessed a real success story for microfinance – a lady with HIV who had set up her own fruit and vegetable stall at a market. It brought to life the impact that well managed microfinance investments really can have”
What is the Supply Chain?
For those of you who do not know, The Great Generation Supply Chain is a unique way for our volunteers to become ambassadors for the local communities whom they have lived and worked with during their project. Our volunteers work together with our Expert Partners and local communities to identify small items which can make a big difference. We advertise these items here and volunteers promote these Supply Chain items to YOU, their friends and family and when you donate money towards a particular Supply Chain item you know that the money is going to where it is needed most.
The Great Generation and its volunteers, partners and local communities thank you for your contribution towards a world free of poverty.
