Supply Chain - Barclays Project

In 2009 The Great Generation partnered with Barclays Bank UK, in March that year a group of their top graduates delivered a capacity building project with one of Our Expert Partners, Kawempe Home Care, a HIV/AIDS Outreach and Home-care initiative based in Kampala, Uganda.

This project helped build our Expert Partner’s strategic marketing and fundraising initiatives and enabled them to further strengthen their “Beads for Education” initiative – an enterprise and sustainable livelihoods project.

The Beads for Education initiative helps get children into school; access to education is one of the biggest challenges to a community’s development.

The volunteers and Expert Partner identified the following small items that will continue to grow the “Beads for Education” initiative and empower the community.
