Supply Chain - Luton Sixth Form Project

In 2009 students from Luton Sixth Form went to Uganda to volunteer with St Francis Health Care Services, based just outside Jinja, Uganda. This Expert Partner runs a holistic HIV/AIDS outreach programme, as well as supporting many rural grandmothers living with HIV/AIDS who are looking after their own children’s orphans.

Whilst volunteering at St Francis Health Care Services the students planted a garden for a newly established orphans respite home as well as painting the rooms in the home to make it a more bright and cheerful place for the children to stay.

Being back in the UK, they continue to support and promote ‘their sister-community’ by asking people to make donations through The Great Generation Supply Chain.
