Volunteer programme

Becoming part of The Great Generation gives you the chance to use your skills and passion to contribute effectively to communities in need. You will work in the heart of a community and gain hands on experience of how charitable donations can really make a difference.

Each of our projects lasts for one to two weeks. They are community-driven and designed so that your involvement creates a legacy that helps local people to secure better futures.

Education is at the core of our program – as a volunteer you will learn about key development issues before you go, and will return home with a greater understanding of communities affected by disaster, conflict and poverty. Your contribution will support initiatives that give local people an opportunity to help themselves.

At present we have a number of exciting partnerships underway and have chosen to focus our resources on building inks with our partners here in the UK and the community partners on the ground. For this reason, our 'Open' Volunteering Programme has been postponed.
