Back ground

This project was a tailored project for Salesforce staff and involved them spending one week working on a hunger project in conjunction with our Expert Partner, Tkiyet Um Ali, in Amman, Jordan.

The project

This project involved volunteers spending one week delivering a training programme in Data Management and Corporate Partnership development. This project offered an insight into the issues surrounding hunger and the measures needed to tackle such a huge problem. The main purpose of the project was the installation of the Salesforce contact relationship management database to better track donors and recipients/ beneficiaries, making links where appropriate for example where specific families are sponsored. The team of volunteers, in addition to installing Salesforce, trained TUA staff in the use of the Salesforce platform, delivered management and leadership training through a series of workshops, increased the capacity of middle management to manage and lead their teams, reinstalled a sense of passion and motivation in the workforce and built a strong relationship for future partnership development and growth.
