projects in action button Data Management and Fundraising Project in Jordan Amman, JordanTBC 2010 (2 weeks)

About this project
This project is a tailored project and will involve spending one week in Amman, Jordan delivering a training programme in Data Management and Fundraising to staff at Tkiyet Um Ali which provides food and services to the less priveleged sectors of Jordanian society, the needy and the hungry. This project will build on from the outcomes of the previous Salesforce Data Management Project and ensure that the fundraising function is being fully developed using the Salesforce Platform. This project will help Tkiyet Um Ali to manage their partnerships and increase the external support for their essential feeding programme.

To take part in this project selected staff must fill in a volunteer registration form. To confirm a place on the project you will need to transfer a £100 non-refundable donation. Volunteers are asked to fundraise a set amount of money that covers your flights, food, local transport and accommodation. Most of the services we use on the project, such as accommodation, food and transport, are sourced from the community you will be working in to help stimulate the local economy.

Briefings
Volunteers must attend two half-day briefings. It is important that you attend both briefings as we use this time to do planning for the project as well as getting you prepared for the community you will be volunteering in for the two weeks.
