About this Project
In 2010 The Great Generation will take a group of students as volunteers to help restore various locations in the nature reserves of Wild Jordan. Jordan faces a continuous battle with litter, especially at sites of natural and cultural interest, and this project seeks to help make the environment cleaner for all visitors. Activities will include picking up litter, painting, erecting fences and ensuring environmental rules are adhered to by members of the public.

Who should take part in this project?
If you are a student or staff member of the allocated school you may sign up to take part in this project.

Information about taking part in this project
To take part in this project we need students and staff of the school to fill in a volunteer registration form. To confirm a place on the project you will need to transfer a £100 non-refundable donation. Volunteers are asked to fundraise a set amount of money that covers your flights, food, local transport and accommodation. Most of the services we use on the project, such as accommodation, food and transport, are sourced from the community you will be working in to help stimulate the local economy.

Briefings
Volunteers must attend two half-day briefings. It is important that you attend both briefings as we use this time to do planning for the project as well as getting you prepared for the community you will be volunteering in for the two weeks.
